The original tune, as notated for pipes by the composer Gordon Duncan, did not have a 2nd ending. The arrangement above uses Gordon's melody along with the return ending favoured by Cape Breton fiddlers Kinnon Beaton, Wendy MacIsaac and Andrea Beaton.
