I associate this tune with home tapes of Angus Chisholm. It was originally published in Kohler's Collection during the 1880s. The arrangement as above wwas republished World Fiddle Day, May 18, 2013 as part of a new book titled The Cape Breton Scottish Collection. This Cape Breton setting reflects various recordings including ones by Carl MacKenzie (Tullochgorm with Doug MacPhee) and Ashley MacIsaac (Fine Thank You Very Much)
