Since the days of the first 78s and subsequent radio broadcasts, The Chiasson families, from the Souris area of PEI have been strongly influenced by Cape Breton music. The current generation is lead by fiddler J.J. Chiasson who plays with the group Celtic Tide. It was composed for Darla Chiasson, the piano player of the group. A handsome jig, it can also be played in D by simply moving everything up one string. It can be be heard on Ceilidh 2000 a Celtic Colours compilation.
