An ever popular A minor 18th century Scottish reel. Associated with Donald MacLellan and Alex Francis MacKay it has recently been recorded by both Dougie MacDonald and David Greenberg.


Isla Lasses

A B minor reel from the Alexander Walker Collection. Popular in Cape Breton, it has been recorded by both David Greenberg and by Carl MacKenzie.


The Skylark

A very popular Irish reel composed by James Morrison in the 1930s.


The Lass O'Pettie Mill

A lovely key F march arranged in a Cape Breton style by David Greenberg ... based on a setting from Adam Craig in the 1730s.


Johnny Sullivan

A traditional E minor reel from Cape Breton. First recorded on 78 disc by Bill Lamey in the '50s, the title appeared in the 60s on a Five MacDonald Fiddlers lp. More recently David Greenberg recorded it on Bach Meets Cape Breton.
