This is one of the most famous tunes in the current Cape Breton repertoire. The above low resolution scan comes from a book titled John Campbell - A Cape Breton Legacy.

Popularized in the 1970s at concerts featuring The Cape Breton Fiddler's Assoication it was composed in the 1960s and has often been paired with one of Donald Angus Beaton's tunes, Ann MacQuarrie's Reel. Sandy MacIntyre's Trip to Boston first appeared in print in Alistair MacGillivray's Cape Breton Fiddler.

NOTE: The book does contain both legible muisc notation and carefully constructed page layouts- the 72 dpi scanning above doesn't do it justice.
