A popular fiddle tune composed by Paul Cranford it was first recorded in 1999 on a harp by Laoise Kelly on her solo CD titled Just Harp.The above setting comes from the original source The Lighthouse Collection. When Laoise got that book she learned the first two tunes on the first page (The Lion and The Mortgage Burn) and has stayed with them ever since.
